Interpersonal is a new body of work by Danielle Comeaux, Joana Stillwell, and Ilysia Van Deren in which they use their friendship as artists to explore the nature and limits of interpersonal boundaries. By inserting themselves into each other's normally solitary moments in a series of self-imposed exercises, they investigate and question their individual comfort zones and familiarities with one another. Through videos, objects, and images the resulting work considers themes of perception, assumption, and projection. The viewer is given a playful glimpse into the curious nature of their interactions and the delicate dynamics of private and public amongst friends.
